As part of the exhibition, Spiderman was one of 81 portraits paired with oral histories that chronicled Mississippi’s resilience in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The nationally-acclaimed exhibition traveled to museums and art centers throughout Mississippi for years. Spiderman is featured in the book Backyards and Beyond: Mississippians and Their Stories.
